Meet Erin Anderson.

 

Erin Anderson is an actress, deviser, and voiceover artist based in New York City, with a performance background ranging from new plays to classical work to highly physical ensemble-based work.

Most recently, Erin played Hecate in Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More at the McKittrick Hotel in New York, and she has appeared onstage at New York Theater Workshop, Atlantic Theater Company, the Mark Taper Forum, South Coast Repertory, New York Stage & Film’s Powerhouse Theatre summer season, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival among others. Other theater credits in L.A. include the Matrix Theater, Bootleg Theater, and being a company member of The Actors’ Gang (Tim Robbins, artistic director.) She has been part of many new play development processes at New Dramatists, The Lark, the Atlantic, EST, the Old Globe, Rep Theatre of St. Louis, Dorset Theater, and the Cape Cod Theatre Project with playwrights including Mona Mansour, Rajiv Joseph, Mia Chung, Abby Rosebrock, Melisa Tien, and others, and has created devised work as a member of Teatro de Facto, a company based in Los Angeles.

She starred in the independent film Days Together, for which she received the Best Actress award at the Gotham Screen International Film Festival in NYC, and which was named Best Narrative Feature at the Virginia Film Festival. She co-stars in the upcoming indie feature The Living Worst, which she also co-wrote and co-produced. Her recent TV work includes guest roles on Bull, Blacklist: Redemption, & Justified among others, and she starred as Vicki on the Hulu/Vimeo on Demand web series Kittens in a Cage.

Erin holds a BFA from the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts, and also trained at the British American Drama Academy at Balliol College, Oxford, England. She is proud to be a Teaching Artist with Ping Chong & Company and Community-Word Project in NYC, and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA.  She counts among her teachers and mentors Larry Moss, Patsy Rodenburg, Nancy Banks, and Jean-Louis Rodrigue & Kristof Konrad.

She is also a devoted, beleaguered supporter of the San Francisco Giants and Arsenal FC.
